We act as an intermediary to facilitate warranty services between you and the manufacturer or importer. Warranty terms vary by brand and product, and specific conditions are typically outlined on the manufacturer’s official website. Zyhr Tech adheres to warranty policies set by the manufacturer, local regulations, and industry standards, such as those established by relevant trade associations.
A warranty is a contractual agreement between the buyer and the manufacturer or importer, under which the manufacturer or importer is responsible for repairing or replacing defective products. Zuhr Tech assists customers in accessing warranty services but does not bear direct responsibility for the warranty itself unless otherwise specified.
Warranty Coverage
- Product-Specific Warranties: Warranties apply only to products for which the manufacturer explicitly provides a warranty period at the time of sale. Not all products sold on the Website come with a warranty.
- Immediate Replacement or Repair: If a warranted product is found to be defective after purchase, it will either be repaired or replaced at our discretion, depending on the product type and availability. If an identical replacement is unavailable, we may provide a comparable product from another brand or a higher-quality product with price adjustments.
- Non-Repairable or Non-Replaceable Products: If a product cannot be repaired or replaced due to unavailability, we may offer a refund based on the product’s depreciated value, subject to mutual agreement.
- Service Timeframes: Warranty repairs or replacements may take 5–40 days or longer, depending on the availability of parts, which may need to be imported. We strive to process claims as quickly as possible but cannot guarantee specific timeframes.
Exclusions from Warranty
Warranties do not cover:
- Damage due to misuse, negligence, or accidents (e.g., water damage, physical damage, burns, or deep scratches).
- Products with removed, damaged, or altered serial numbers or stickers.
- Motherboards, graphics cards, fungus, rust, or significant physical damage.
- Apple MacBook products with the native operating system removed.
- Printer components such as cartridges, toners, heads, rollers, drums, or maintenance boxes.
- Printers using non-manufacturer-approved ink, toner, or cartridges.
- Combo keyboard-mouse sets where only one component is damaged (the entire set must be presented for warranty claims).
- Power adapters for printers, scanners, routers, switches, access points, or similar products.
- Dead pixels on monitors unless there are three or more visible dead pixels.
- Data loss or software corruption during use or servicing. You are responsible for backing up your data, as Zuhr Tech is not liable for data recovery or software reinstallation.
- Customized computer setups or operating systems provided at the time of sale.
- Products under “lifetime warranty” after they become obsolete (End of Life) in the market or after a maximum of 2 years, per industry standards.
- Products left unclaimed in our service department for more than 2 months after a warranty claim is submitted.
Warranty Claims Process
To initiate a warranty claim, you must present the product along with its original packaging and proof of purchase (e.g., receipt or invoice). If the receipt is lost, other verifiable proof of purchase may be accepted. For non-warranty services, additional fees may apply, subject to your consent. If replacement parts are needed, you may procure them independently or through us with advance payment.
